On the Road Again: Next Stop, SoCal (and beyond)
Happy Labor/Labour Day!
If you’re in the U.S. or Canada, I hope you’re enjoying the holiday. Everyone else, enjoy the lull in traffic while many people in North America are offline doing other things.
As for me, I’m heading back out on the road, flying down to San Diego today and then around the U.S. for a few more tour stops over the next two weeks.
San Diego: September 4, Warwick’s Books (La Jolla), 7:30pm
Los Angeles: September 5, i/o LA, 7083 Hollywood Blvd, 6:30pm
Orange County: September 6, Chapman University, One University Drive, 5pm
Minneapolis: September 10, Midtown Global Market, 920 E. Lake, 6:00pm
Chicago: September 11, Fizz, 3220 N Lincoln, 7pm
Omaha: September 12, House of Loom, 1012 South 10th Street, 7pm
More dates coming soon!
Each of these stops are public events, and I’d love to see you if you’re nearby. Tickets are free on the tour site—bring your friends!

Want to Help or Get Involved? Here’s How!
The $100 Startup continues to do well, with numerous foreign versions planned to come out over the next year. Even as I move ahead with other projects, I’m excited to continue to support the book for years to come.
Here are a few opportunities to be part of the book and community.
Host an Event
I’ve done more than 100 book events so far, for both The $100 Startup and my first book, and I love getting together with readers. We’ve done them with 500 people and with 5 people (shoutout to West Virginia).
Most of the events I’m doing now are initiated by readers who have asked to host an event. Would you like to bring The $100 Startup tour to your city—and can you help to make it happen? By popular demand (i.e., failing to keep up in my Inbox), we’ve made a submission form you can use to request a stop.

Share Your Story
Have you read the book and used it to start or improve an existing business? I’d love to know. Please let me know. We’ll be using many of these stories as case studies in an upcoming project.

Leave a Review
Lastly, a brief request: if you’ve read the book, would you do me a favor? Reviews matter—a lot. We’re hoping to get to 500 total reviews on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, and every one helps.
The best reviews are specific and include a couple of details that you related to or helped you with your work. I hope you love the book, but of course you can say anything you want in the review, positive or negative. I’m grateful for anyone who cares enough to share their thoughts with the world.

If you prefer to support your local bookstore, that’s great too! Encourage them to stock the book, and if I’m nearby I’ll be happy to do a signing.

After these tour dates, I’ll be flying to the Seychelles (country #188) and then to Spain. I’m back in travel mode, and thrilled to be on the road again.
Have a great week!
