Link: WDS 2016 Academy Registration Is Now Open to Everyone!

Every year since 2011, I’ve produced and hosted an global gathering known modestly as the World Domination Summit (WDS). More than 10,000 people have participated in WDS main stage events, and starting in 2014 we expanded to feature half-day workshops known as Academies.

Registration for Academies is now open to the general public, and this year we have something special: an all-new experience called WDS Connect.

When you register for WDS Connect, you’ll get access to hundreds of meetups and special sessions that aren’t open to the general public. You’ll also get access to one complimentary Academy of your choice.

This year’s Academies include a wide range of awesome topics and feature several favorite WDS speakers from over the years. Here are a few examples:

Why Academies?

Because we never want WDS to end! Since 2014 we’ve been welcoming alumni WDS speakers and other special guests who want to share their knowledge and experience in a half-day workshop setting.

Attending an Academy is a great way to lead into the main events of WDS weekend, and then keep the conversations and connections going after the weekend. Check out this short video to get more of an idea:

How to Register

-Registration for Academies is separate from WDS itself, and we offer registration both to WDS attendees as well as to the general public (for a slightly higher registration fee). Please note, if you’re attending WDS (either 360 or Connect), you have “insider Access” and need to login to your WDS account before making your Academy selection.

-Every Academy requires its own registration. There is no limit to how many Academies you can register for, but you can only purchase Academies for yourself. (Because of how our database works, if you want to come with a friend, they’ll need to register on their own.)

-No physical ticket or confirmation will be required upon check in, just a valid photo ID. Since attendance is limited, we’ll verify that everyone who shows up is on the list.

-Academy tickets are capacity controlled and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Get your spot now and invite your friends! All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

-Each Academy has a limited number of free “Insider Access” seats only available to WDS 360 and Connect attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis. For the best experience, sign up for WDS Connect.

How to Claim Your Insider Access Seat

If you’ve purchased a WDS Connect or 360 ticket, this means YOU!

-When you’re ready to claim your Insider Access seat, look for the big, orange button at the bottom or in the sidebar of any Academy page (see example below).

-Once you’ve claimed your Insider Access seat, you’ll then be prompted to purchase any additional Academy seats that you want to register for.

-Choose wisely and confidently, because once you’ve claimed an Insider Access seat, you won’t be able to transfer it or claim another one.
