$100 Startup Launches In Japan
I woke up yesterday and there was a typhoon outside my window. Whoa. I usually miss all the fun, but in this case I managed to stick around for part of the storm.
When the heavens weren’t being drained from the skies over Tokyo, I was thrilled to meet my local publisher and get a copy of the first printing from the local version of The $100 Startup.
That’s right, it’s now available in Japan!

Japanese readers, you can pick up the book here on Amazon.jp or at your favorite local bookstore. If you enjoy it, please leave a review for others and tell your friends.
I hope to return to Japan at some point to meet readers and speak about microentrepreneurship in Asian cultures—just as I did earlier this year in Korea.
Frequent Flyer Challenge Update
I know that many of you have been waiting on the results of my latest Frequent Flyer Challenge, first announced two weeks ago.
I’ve been busy with other things, but I expect to provide a full report soon, perhaps in the next week or two.
We’ll also have an update on cards for international readers, one of the most common requests we receive over in travel hacking land.
Until then, I’m flying back to America—and I hope you are well, wherever you are.
– Chris
*Two great new books out this week from friends: Money (A Love Story) and The Year Without Pants.
