Giveaway: Color Cloud Hammock

Every Friday is giveaway day. Comment to win!

178725_444915825532605_48236920_o

Several years ago, three nomadic adventurers started a small business making and selling hammocks. The hammocks have since gone global, with sightings in more than 40 countries and all 7 continents.

I love these hammocks! We use them in the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) lounge at WDS every year, and they’re always a huge hit.

Also, be sure to check out their hammocks around the world on Instagram via hashtag #inacolorcloud.

What you need to know:

  • Color Cloud hammocks are sweatshop-free and individually crafted by a small team of Cambodian women
  • The hammocks are available in a range of colors. This giveaway is for the “On the Bow” version, a great unisex color
  • This giveaway is available to readers worldwide. Anyone can win!
  • Our cats and biased judges will pick someone on Sunday night at 6pm PST

Enter this week’s giveaway by posting a comment, then check back on Sunday night. We’ll announce the winner and send them the prize!

Two years ago I was 27 and unemployed. I had spent my early 20s working dead end jobs that paid me very little ($20000 a year doesn’t go far in my area) in fields I wasn’t interested in. I was lonely, depressed, and saw no point in soldiering on.

Today, I work as a product manager at an awesome tech company. I make over four times what I was making before, I have a wonderful and loving girlfriend, and I just bought a house and my first car built within the last decade. I’m getting a dog. The future looks bright and I’m happier than I’ve ever been.

Your site, along with The Art of Manliness and a few key books helped propel this change. I cannot thank you enough for giving people hope when they need it, showing the world that life can be worth living, and pursuing a cause that is noble and inspiring.

My new pad has a beautiful screened in porch and I can’t tell you how grateful I’d be to stretch out in an awesome hammock, relax, and appreciate how fortunate I am.

Between his green sleeping bag and green tarp over his head he looked like a little pea pod hanging in the hammock. I’d love to be able to win this for him, so he could use it on his scout adventures and beyond in his life travels.
