Giveaway: Hand-Drawn Typographic Food Map of Thailand… On a T-Shirt!

Every Friday is giveaway day, but today is bonus giveaway day. Comment to win!

i-wDGRstP

Over six years ago, Jodi Ettenberg quit her job as a lawyer to travel for what she thought was a year. She never returned to the law, opting instead to write about travel and food on her site, Legal Nomads.

I interviewed Jodi several years ago, right before she spoke at the very first WDS. As her business and site took off, she began commissioning hand-drawn typographic maps of meals—a marriage of her obsession with food and her love of travel.

Her newest map, a food map of Thailand, is available online for just one week. Because she’s awesome, Jodi has offered a giveaway to AONC readers during this limited-time campaign.

What you need to know:

  • The maps are hand-drawn as an unconventional collaboration between artist Ella Sanders and Jodi. Ella drew all the artwork, Jodi ate all the food.
  • They are available in men’s crew and v-necks, and women’s tight fit and loose fit v-neck (you can pick your preferred size if you win)
  • This bonus T-shirt giveaway is available to readers in the U.S. and Canada
  • Our cats and biased judges will pick someone on Wednesday night at 6pm PST

Enter this week’s giveaway by posting a comment, then check back on Wednesday night. We’ll announce the winner and send them the prize!

Oh, and in case you missed it… tomorrow is a big day around here.

Update: Comments are now closed. Congrats to Dare Maurik, selected by our panel of cats to win Jodi’s rad shirt! Everyone else, thanks for entering. We’ll have another giveaway this week.

Food is truly a cultural experience in Thailand. We North Americans can learn a lot from the Thai’s relationship with food, family, friends and festivities. Quality food and good company are key to Thailand’s culture.
