Quarterly: A Box of Surprises In the Mail

Want to receive fun surprises in the mail … four times a year? I thought so.

Quarterly is a new subscription service that offers a surprise package each quarter from interesting people. I’m not sure why they thought I was an interesting person, but I liked the idea of sharing some of my favorite things with you—so a few months ago, we sent out a package to an initial group of recipients.

The deadline for the next mailing is very soon. If you’d like to get in on the fun, sign up before the end of Monday, August 12.

I don’t want to ruin the surprise of what’s going out next week, so to give you an idea, I’ll show you what came in the first box a few months ago.

How awesome is this map? Scratch off the countries you’ve visited and keep track of where you want to go next. I confess, my arm got a little tired scratching off 193 countries, but it was all for a good cause.

I love planes and I love mail, so this postcard combines two awesome things. Send one to your favorite traveler!

I carry a notebook and a pen everywhere I go. It’s by my bed every night no matter where I am in the world. That’s why I like these custom Scout Books, and this pen that’s guaranteed to last seven years.

Of course, I’ll probably lose mine in an airline lounge long before seven years comes around, but that’s another story.

I never check luggage, but I do appreciate a good luggage tag. This one says, “Going Places” and is handcrafted leather. It looks great on my carry-on bag.
