Giveaway: Woodland Chevvy Scarf by Krama Wheel
Every Friday is giveaway day. Comment to win!
Up for the win is this awesome scarf from Krama Wheel, founded by traveler and entrepreneur Roni Sivan. Every Krama Wheel scarf sold secures the making of a new school uniform for a young Cambodian student who otherwise couldn’t afford it.
This small business was inspired by Roni’s travels through Cambodia. Krama Wheel supports the local scarf makers by paying them fairly, while also paying local seamstresses to sew school uniforms for children.
Be sure to check them out on Facebook. You can also learn more on Roni’s blog, Possibility of Visit.
What you need to know:
- Krama Wheel scarves are sweatshop-free and individually crafted by a small team of Cambodian women. Everything from the dying of the thread to the individually sewn tags is done by hand.
- The scarves are available in a range of colors and designs. This giveaway is for the “Woodland Chevvy” version, a great unisex color
- This giveaway is available to readers in the U.S. and Canada.
- Our cats and biased judges will pick someone on Sunday night at 6pm PST
Enter this weekโs giveaway by posting a comment, then check back on Sunday night. Weโll announce the winner and send them the prize!
Update: Comments are now closed. Congrats to Julia Pilant, selected by cats and a random number generator to win the Krama scarf! Everyone else, thanks for entering. Weโll have another giveaway next week.

Really beautiful scarf. Great idea to give one away, and also great idea to have a non-sweatshop team make them. Best of luck in all you do.
This scarf is so gorgeous, but even more alluring is that fact that it’s sweatshop free. The colors are gorgeous! Looking forward to the giveaway results!

GREAT idea Roni! Congrats on your work. What a beautiful scarf. Excited to check out your business ๐
Love seeing people step outside the box and do their own thing, especially when they incorporate helping others! And that scarf is gorgeous, which is a bonus. Great job guys!
As a girl who was fortunate enough to attend school, in a uniform :), i love this.

Lovely scarf!!!
Beautiful work and a great cause. Educating our children is so important.
I need more krama in my life ๐
My cat and I would be honoured to snuggle in with this on a wet west coast day (she’s white and I have blue-gray eyes so it will match perfectly and we’ll think of the Cambodian women who made it with love every time). Thank you Roni and Chris for such inspiring work.
Perfect colours for Fall!!
The colors seem to represent the multitude of cultures you get to experience in a place like Cambodia. The locals look at you with smiles as wide as their eyes; they aren’t scared, just amazed, as we are of them. It only takes a single travel experience to realize that it’s exactly this special blend of cultures that makes each of us unique.
Love Krama Wheel scarves!!!
